I spent today with a great group of people attending a very special workshop. The one day exploration of the artist book was conducted by well known Queensland paper and book artist Judy Barrass. Judy is currently artist in residence at the Kings Bridge Gorge Cottage in Launceston. She will be based there during February and March this year.
The workshop was very stimulating as Judy gave us an insight into the way she approaches her own work as well very interesting and unusual ways the book can be used as an artist's tool.We were introduced to several very interesting book structures for us to explore during the day.
