Museum of Contemporary Art
We visited the Museum of Contemporary Art down at Circular Quay. There were three very interesting exhibitions on show. I chose to concentrate on just two of the three.
1. Paddy Bedford
This is the first major survey of the work of renowned Gija artist Paddy Bedford. It is a visually powerful exhibition and according to the program, it explores the full range of his practice from his early work when he used natural earth colours through to his black and white canvases and his recent gouache works on board.
2.Centre Pompidou Video Art 1965-2005
The work of 30 internationally renowned video artists including Jean-Luc Godard from the extensive collection of the Centre Pompidou Paris is on exhibition. There were audio visual installations, projections and works shown on monitors in this exciting show.
