We took a side trip up to West Ridgley to visit the Guide Falls. This is the area where I spent my childhood. I often spent time exploring the area around the Falls. I enjoyed exploring the rock formations, the plants and the river and just being near a waterfall. It was interesting to revisit the area . It has changed dramatically since my childhood days.
As we were driving through Ridgley, we noticed two female scarecrows. They looked very colourful standing in the garden behind an old style post and rail fence. It was dusk as we were leaving and the moon looked pink through the smoke haze.
