Mark and Carol very generously travelled over to London from Wales to spend some time with us. It was great to see Carol again after several years. We first met while we were serving at the Baha'i World Centre in Haifa and although we had not seen each other for several years we have kept in touch via email. It was exciting to meet Carol's husband Mark for the first time. He had kindly organised tickets ahead of time for our visit to the London Eye.
We arrived early and immediately joined the queue. It is a very popular attraction and since it was Saturday morning, the number of people waiting in line grew very quickly. It was a very clear day so we were lucky to have excellent views across the city during our flight. We could even see the changing of the guard at Buckingham Palace!
