Brenda and Sapphire

We were delighted to see Brenda, Stephanie, Scarlet and Sapphire at a nearby table at Ceres. We had a chat while we were waiting for our food to arrive. I managed to get a snap of Brenda and Sapphire.

Lunch at Ceres cafe

We enjoyed a delicious lunch at Ceres Cafe with Caleb, Blaine and Hespa

We visit the Aquarium with Hespa

This morning we took a tram with Hespa to spend some time at the Melbourne Aquarium. We enjoyed seeing the beautiful fish and the show and tell displays but the highlight was seeing the large fish being fed.

We have morning coffee with Debbie Stanley

It is some time since we managed to catch up with Debbie who works at the Museum. It was great to have time to hear her news and to catch up with the latest adventures of our nieces, Rachael and Chelsea.

We visit the Melbourne Museum

As we walked frm the tram stop towards the Museum, we stopped to admire a beautiful fountain featuring sculptures of kangaroos and emus. In the distance is the famous Exhibition Buildings.

Closer to the Museum a collection of decorative architectural elements is displayed on the lawns.

We enjoyed a visit to the special exhibition about the Great Wall of China. This brought back memories of our visit to the Great Wall during a trip to China a few years ago.

We also enjoyed spending time viewing the collection of insects and arachnids as well as the beautiful tapestries.

The lower Terraces of the Shrine of the Bab

As this was the last day we had for spending time in the Baha'i gardens , we decided to spend some time on the lower Terraces of the Shrine of the Bab.

It was a perfect summers day so we spent time taking photographs of each of the Terraces and the diverse plants and trees to be seen on the more formal areas. The views down Ben Gurion Avenue towards Haifa Bay are spectacular.
