Vale Juliet Partridge 1941 - 2008

It is hard to imagine a world with out Juliet. She was such a delightful, energetic and loving person. It was loads of fun to be around her. Juliet was a great communicator.

She was a close friend and a colleague of mine for many years in the School of Education at the College of Advanced Education which then became the Tasmanian State Institute of Tasmania and later the University of Tasmania, Launceston. We were born in the same year and we retired from University life on the same day in January 1997.

Juliet had a heart of gold - she always had time to sit and talk. she was warm and generous with her time and her knowledge. If one needed a shoulder to cry on - or just someone to talk through an idea- or help with working though a problem or delicate issue - one could always count on Juliet to be there. She had a way of helping one get things in perspective and to see the positive side of situations.

Thank you Juliet for being such a wonderful, supportive, creative, generous and totally delightful human being. You certainly enriched my life.
