Our dear friend Valma has died. Valma was a charming, gracious, delightful, warm-hearted friend. She touched the hearts of everyone who met her. She was a gifted hockey player, a devoted teacher and at one time, a police woman.
It was my great pleasure to have this lady live with me for three years after she suffered a stroke. Val was such a special lady, even when she lost her speech after the stroke she never gave up & always had a beautiful smile. She passed away after suffering another stroke on 8/11/2008, I still miss her to this day. What a wonderful knowledgeable person.
