Today was significant because I reconnected with a friend from my days at art school, in the early 1960s. Wendy and I attended many of the same classes when we were preparing to become art teachers. It was a delight to spend time with Wendy and to meet her husband, Brian. Wendy and Brian have a beautiful cottage garden and I took the opportunity of photographing their lilies that were in full bloom.
