A devotional picnic at Mt Barrow

Today we met with some friends, John and Hadie MacLeod at Mt Barrow. It was a cool and cloudy day but we managed to spend some time having lunch together at the picnic ground area before we drove up to the car park near the top of the mountain. There we walked on some of the tracks to admire the views of the countryside as well as appreciate and photograph the beautiful rock formations and diverse plant life.
This outing was part of a series of Devotional picnics that John has organised over the summer months to various beautiful parks and reserves in the north of the island.

'They cried, "Alas for thee! Layli is of pure spirit, and thou seekest her in the dust!" He said, "I seek her everywhere; haply somewhere I shall find her." (Baha'u'llah, The Seven Valleys, p.6)
