Creative Paper at Burnie

Kim was very keen to visit the Creative Paper Centre in Burnie. We made that the next stop on our day trip. It was wonderful to see the developments that have been made over recent years. we were told that the Centre will be moving into new premises very soon. Actually, the building that the Centre will be moving into happens to be the original Burnie High School which I attended in the 1950s.

The paper sculptures in the photographs were made by Pam Thorne and Ruth Rees who have been collaborating on papier mache projects in Burnie for more than ten years.
