We are in Melbourne for a week to celebrate our 42nd wedding anniversary. We plan to visit friends and relatives as well as spend time at some special exhibitions and hopefully get to see a couple of movies. Today, our son, Zachary loaned us his car so that we could spend some time with cousins who live at Sunbury, Riddells Creek and Bacchus Marsh.

Cousin Julie Thorpe had prepared a delicious lunch. We had lots to talk about and as I am always interested in family history, Julie and her husband Geoff, found some photos that I was able to borrow to copy and add to my family album.

It was great to spend time with Julie's mother,Thora Fisher who was visitng from Sunbury as well as Les and Molly Widger from Bacchus Marsh (Les is Thora's brother). I had not seen Les for about 25 years.

Debbie and Sharon , Julie and Geoff's daughters were also there as well as Sharon's husband, Steve. Later, Debbie took us to the actual Riddells Creek where she and her husband Frank are building a beautiful house on a hillside overlooking the Creek and surrounding farm lands.
