Today we travelled to Vancouver to meet up with our very good friend Kim Walti. Kim lived in Launceston with her husband Ernst for about 12 years and during that time, we became very close friends. They have two daughters, Heidi and Erika who spent their early years in Launceston.
As we entered the airport at Vancouver, we were very impressed with the scale and beauty of the sculptures ... all with an emphasis on the traditional Indian culture.
