Railway and Forestry Museum of Prince George

Lynn suggested that we complete our day our with a visit to the railway and forestry Museum of Prince George. Again, there was a small model railway that operated on the site ... so we decided to have a turn on that before we explored many of the old trains and carriages that are displayed at the museum. They are not housed inside a museum buiding but they are set on rail tracks in the outdoors. In some of the carriages, there were photographs and displays of artifacts associated with the history of the railways in Prince George and associated regions. Also included in the collection are trucks and old farm machinery as well as items related to forestry practices in the region.
