After we had lunch in Safed, we travelled along highway 89 - as we were heading for Yekhi'am Fortress. As we passed through the Druze village of Hurfesh we noticed a new equestrian statue that has been erected on a round-about island. The only other equestrian statue that I am aware of in Israel can be found at Beit She'arim near Kiryat Tiv'on.
