We visit Safed with Allan and Muna Waters

Today we set off early to visit the northern city of Safed. It is the most elevated city in Israel and on a clear day there are wonderful views of Lake Kinneret (Sea of Galilee). We spent some time walking through the interesting lane ways of the old city where there are many artist studios. We also visited the souq, an old synagogue and a candle factory. We always enjoy our visits to this city. There are great views of the surrounding hills as well as Mt Meron.
