Barbara Taylor kindly invited us to spend some time with her today to visit a gallery and to have lunch and explore some craft shops at Zichron Yaa'kov. We were joined by JoAnne Robinson who will soon be returning to live in Canada. Our first stop was The Seam Gallery at Megadim. The Seam gallery specialises in presenting exhibitions of work by textile artists. The current show is Artists Books that coincides with Book Week in Israel. We enjoyed the exhibition very much and the owners of the gallery allowed us to photograph the exhibits.
When we lived in Haifa, we often visited this gallery, so it was really nice to have the chance to see a show during our brief time here this year.
The artists who are represented in this current show are: Sarah Avnine-Genisar, Chana Ofek, Elizabeth Eliasheve, Barbara Benhaim, Dahlia Jedda, Tali Talmor, Shulamit Levin and Huani Mukmel.
