Lunch with Dee, Ian and Annabelle
We arranged to meet Dee and Ian Tweedie and their daughter Annabelle for lunch. we met them at the station by Highbury and Islington on the Victoria line which worked out very well as we also planned to visit the Arnos Grove Cemetery later in the afternoon.
We have known Dee since she was a child attending a small primary school in Launceston, Tasmania that Noel and I established in the 70s. She grew up with our own daughters but we had not seen her for several years so this was an exciting meeting for us. It was great to meet Ian and Annabelle too! We walked and chatted for quite awhile before we located a restaurant that seemed to suit us. The Tweedies eat vegetarian so we finally decided on Indian food. We had a delicious meal and did lots of catching up. Afterwards, we walked slowly back to the station and travelled together to Finsbury Park where we had to change trains to get our connection to Arnos Grove.
