That evening, Patty organised for a baby sitter to look after Lucia and Ethan, so that shortly after her husband Geoff arrived home from work, we 4 adults went to a country style pub for a nice meal and a chat. Sometimes at dusk the local badgers come out near the back garden of the pub. Unfortunately, the badgers decided to stay well hidden while we were there. However, since the pub is situated in an elevated position, we had a nice view of fields and meadows where cattle were grazing and lazing. We returned to the house and checked our emails before going to bed.
