Pat kindly offered to take us to visit the Mother Temple of the West which is beside the lake at Wilmette. I had visited the House of Worship once previously ... it had been in the middle of winter and the whole landscape had been covered with a huge dump of snow. What a contrast today in the heat! We also visited the visitors centre. The building is still undergoing renovations.
