Fundy Coastal drive to St Andrews

We set off with Trish and David towards Saint John where we spent time with David's mother and other relatives before travelling on to St Andrews where we had lunch, visited a potter and several other craft shops. David and Trish pointed out a Celtic Cross that had been erected in memory of many of the Irish famine victims who had died while fleeing their homeland and lie buried on hospital island near St Andrews. This completed a link for me since I had recently visited Cobh on Ireland where many of the ships had taken the starving and sickly people on board.
