We travelled further up the coast past Tignish until we reached the tip of North Cape. There is a wind farm located in this area. We spent time walking on the shore of the cape. There are very interesting rock formations and weathering patterns due to the action of the sea on the layering of the red sandstone. We also noticed lots of holes on some of the banks above the waterline where birds make their nests in tiny burrows.
