London-wul

We spent a very full and busy day with Trish, David and their daughter Shayda. First we visited London-Wul Fibre Arts Centre which is located at Lakeburn and only about 15 minutes drive from Moncton. We met Heidi Wulfraat who operates the centre with her husband. She gave us a tour of her working studio, a handspinning museum, a natural dye plant garden as well as the dye room. Later we had time to explore the gallery and some of the wonderful fibre products and equipment they have for sale. They have a farm with many animals including English angora rabbits and various breeds of sheep such as Jacob, Shetland and Horned Dorset. There are also some Angora and Cashmere goats. This is a great place to visit if you are interested in the textile arts.
