We set off to reach our friends Nigel and Elizabeth Jess who live in Banbridge, County Down. On the way we spent some time at Kells in County Meath to learn more about the Book of Kells and the Monuments we had read about.
The main monuments that we saw at Kells were Colmcille's House, a Round Tower, three High Crosses, some grave slabs, A sundial, a font and the square bell tower for St Columba's Church.
