PEI has an amazing network ... almost a grid of roads criss-crossing the landscape. We were heading for Green Gables but on the way we stopped to take in the scenery. I was looking for Canadian fireweed as the flower is pink ... while in Tasmania, the plant I grew up calling fireweed has yellow flowers. We had lunch at a park with spectacular views of the coast.
