Bretton Hall

Bretton Hall campus is one of the most beautiful in Britain with an 18th century Palladian Mansion surrounded by 500 acres of lakes, woods, parkland and formal gardens. Within the campus, on what was originally part of the Bretton Estate are the Yorkshire Sculpture Park, the Bretton Lakes Nature Reserve and the National Arts Education Archives.

Leonard walked us over to the original Bretton Hall and kindly showed us through the main rooms of the mansion that formed the basis of the original college when it was first established by Sir Alec Clegg. Beautiful architectural details around ceilings and fireplaces along with some huge murals we just some of the features he was able to share with us.
