There are several lakes in the gardens along with a fishpond, Lady Churchill's rose garden and a kitchen garden. We also visited his studio which is beautifully situated in the lower garden and contains a large number of his paintings and sketches as well as his easel, palettes, brushes, paints etc - just as he left them.
