Rowhurst

At Rowhurst we enjoyed the extensive display of contemporary sculptures and jewellery as well as a recently researched display about the history of the original house with many very interesting old photographs of the house as well as information about the owners of the property over the centuries. The property is known as 'Rowhurst'.

It dates back to 1346 and is built of oak trees that were planted as early as 1257 and felled in the winter of 1345.
